Digital Literacy for mobile phones: Resource Kit was developed through
ACFE Board Capacity Innovation Fund Round 4 Project
: Pathways to Digital Literacy for CALD learners through mobile phones.
This was an exemplar project in the use of the most commonly owned mobile device – the mobile phone – to develop initial and transferrable digital literacy skills in culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) adult learners.
The modules are organised as stand-alone modules, but if a teacher wanted to useall of them there is a progression in terms of vocabulary building. The mobile phone functions selected for the modules are organised so that they built on and
increase the acquisition of digital skills.
The modules serve as an introduction to digital literacy that teachers can built on depending on the needs of the students.
